Emergency Guidance

There are many types of emergencies that may occur in your building or premises.

We have provided some basic information and instructional videos below which may help to better prepare and inform you in the event that an emergency does occur.

There are a number of options available when your situation is not an emergency.  If you feel unwell or have a minor injury, you can visit your local doctor.  You can speak with a pharmacist for questions about general health or use of medications.  And you can ring Nurse-On-Call at any time for immediate advice on 1300 60 60 24.

In case of emergency dial Triple Zero (000) and ask for the service you need – Fire, Police, Ambulance.

Essential Steps

When the operator answers, please give them the following essential information:

    • The service you need – Fire, Police, Ambulance.
    • Type of emergency.
    • Your building address and unit number.
    • Street name and nearest cross street.

Advice from Our First Responders


Call Triple Zero (000) immediately if the incident is life-threatening, needs immediate police attendance, a crime is happening now, or an offender is (or may be) still in the area.  You can report some non-urgent crime and events anytime, anywhere by calling the Police Assistance Line on 131 444 or submitting an online report at police.vic.gov.au.


You can call the Police Assistance Line 24 hours a day, seven days a week to report lost property or property related crime such as a theft or property damage, or to make general police enquiries.


You can also submit a request to have CCTV footage sent to police in charge of investigating the incident.  Email your request to admin@jkrpropertygroup.com.au and include in the email your name, unit number and building name, police officers’ contact details along with the incident number and a description of what happened as well as a precise date and time of the incident. Please note that without a precise date and time it will may not be possible for us to assist you.


In case of fire, evacuate and get to the designated assembly area place, then Call Triple Zero (000) immediately.”  Follow the instructions in the video above and once you and your family are safe and emergency services are on their way, please call 1300 294 088 and notify Building Management of the emergency.

Urgent Building Matters

In the case that an incident occurs that will affect the security of the building (such as a broken front door or garage gate), or a hazard exists requires immediate rectification for the purposes of safety, please call 1300 294 088 and your Building Manager will promptly attend to the matter.
